We are excited to announce that Sagemaker Asia has been awarded the prestigious RM50,000 Yinson4Youth Grant. This grant will enable us to scale our mission of empowering marginalized women-led households by transforming traditional cottage businesses into structured, tech-enabled, and sustainable ventures. Our project, “Building Community-Based, Innovative, and Tech-Enabled Cottage Businesses,” is dedicated to transforming the economic prospects of 100 women-led households in B40 marginalized communities. We are expecting to kick off the project in early March and it will run until February 2026.

This project focuses on three key pillars:

By fostering an inclusive cottage business ecosystem and equipping these women with entrepreneurial skills, product development support, and market access, SAGEMAKER is creating economic opportunities while strengthening community networks. The initiative blends social impact with scalable business solutions, empowering marginalized women to build sustainable livelihoods and drive meaningful change. This project is not only about creating high-value, handcrafted products but also about building an ecosystem where our Sagemakers thrive together, transforming their lives and the communities they serve.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Yinson for believing in our vision and supporting our journey toward a more sustainable and inclusive future.
