PDK (Community-Based Rehabilitation) is a community development strategy that facilitates the implementation of prevention, rehabilitation, and development programs for people with disabilities (PWD) at the family and community levels. This is achieved through integrated cooperation from various sectors towards a better quality of life.
The PDK program focuses on PWDs who require basic rehabilitation and training in areas such as mobility, speech, special education, and skills for daily living activities. The program is open to PWDs of all types of disabilities and all age groups. PDK also serves as an alternative to institutional rehabilitation.
